The Bugambilias Playacar condos is a small condo development on the South-Western end of Playacar. Tucked quietly away with a number of other condo complexes, this development is on a quiet and private cul de sac.
This condo development leverages a Mexican-Caribbean design style, a styling that is carried from the exterior to the interior.
Bugambilias Playacar Condos: The Units
These condo units, like many in Mexico, have ceramic tile flooring, granite countertops in the kitchen, a breakfast bar for added eating space, and balconies for keeping an eye on the kids while they’re in the pool—or for simply getting some sun from the privacy of your own apartment. These units feature an open-concept design that makes them feel fairly spacious.
The ground-floor units have sliding glass doors with walkouts to the pool, both from the living room and from a bedroom. The second and third storeys of this building have balconies in the living room and at least one bedroom. The majority of the units are 2-bedroom suites around 1,200 square feet.
The Bugambilias Playacar is conveniently located on the South-West end of Playacar, which means it is a stone’s throw from the OXXO plaza, and less than a 15-minute walk to one of Playa Del Carmen’s biggest malls: Centro Maya.
These Playacar condos are located on Retorno Akab, off of Xaman Ha.
The Bugambilias Playacar Property
This relatively simple complex (and the affordable maintenance fees that come with it) has a large swimming pool in the middle of the complex. Off to one side of the pool is a large palapa, which is perfect for entertaining, or escaping the occasional rain. Surrounding the pool and palapa is a garden of maturing trees and tropical plants—all of which are nicely tended to by the maintenance staff.
